EQUALS is a partnership of leading charities that have come together to step-up the call to demand a more equal world. Brought together by Oxfam's Global Ambassador and Barclays Woman of the Year, Annie Lennox OBE, International Women's Day will be a day of debate as well as a day of celebration.

The coalition is evolving every day and includes ActionAid, Amnesty International, Care International UK, The Fawcett Society, Oxfam, Plan UK, Save the Children, The White Ribbon Alliance For Safe Motherhood, Women's Aid and Women for Women International, 1Goal, Dance4Life, Merlin, Mumsnet, OBJECT, One World Action, UKFeminista, VSO, WomanKind, Women for Refugee Women, and staff from The Elders.

EQUALS and Tole-rants have come together in partnership to mark the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day and step up the call for a more equal world. Through our 60 second competition, online communities are being invited to share their vision of what equality between the sexes would really look like, and offer ideas as to how we might achieve this.
